Sculptor Cheryl Tall will travel to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in November 2020, to teach a ceramic sculpture workshop. Come play in the clay, enjoy the beautiful town of San Miguel,and learn Tall's techniques of rapid coil building, sectional sculpture and once firing, to make a mythical figure.

Encinitas Up Close

Cheryl Tall and her advanced ceramic students had had their design chosen to be one of 50 mosaic panels to adorn the Santa Fe Underpass. The mural will be 3x5', with an ocean and mermaid theme. Cheryl and her students are custom making the more than 2000 tiles that will be needed, so that the mural will have a rhythmic texture. Production has already started, and is expected to take three months.
