Ongoing classes designed for Beginner through Advanced Students. Explore techniques of coil-building, slab work, pinch forms, scrafitto, applique and carving. Teacher has a Masters Degree in Ceramics and Fine Art.
Fees:
"4-in-a-row Package Deal", $140 for four consecutive classes, includes 25 lbs. of clay, glaze and firing for projects made from 1 bag of clay. No make-up class if you miss one. Additional clay available at $12 per bag. Additional glaze available at $10 per session. Additional firing available on a per size basis.
"Pay as You Go Plan ", $40 for one class. Materials extra. Clay available at $12 per bag. Glaze available at $10 per session. Firing available on a per size basis.
Once you have made your reservation, here is what to bring: Apron or old shirt, reference picture of something you might like to make, any clay tools you have on hand (we have class tools for you to use if you don't have any, and also tool kits for purchase), texture making objects like costume jewelry, leaves, kitchen objects, etc. We also have project ideas and materials ready to go for beginners.
Clay making is fun, and can become habit forming. I have been doing clay for 25 years and still love it!
